A great excuse to get out of the house, meet up with some friends, sample some of our wine, and check out this amazing store filled with wonderful Ohio-made products.

Celebrate Local is retail concept showcasing the best of Ohio-produced handmade and artisan goods. Guests of central Ohio’s favorite retail destination will have to look no further for locally-sourced candies, jewelry, and specialty goods. Celebrate Local visitors will be able to shop for gifts with regional flair, from local wines and spirits to handicrafts, with every dollar spent showing a commitment to community development and local entrepreneurship.

Chef in the Winery Harvest Dinner- Sold Out

Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Signature Wines, 3816 April Lane, Columbus 43227; 6:00 p.m.; $45.00 per person.

The Harvest Dinner will be the second dinner in our Chef in the Winery series. The goal of the series is to provide guests with an exceptional meal featuring local products and locally produced wine in a unique setting- among the tanks, barrels, and winemaking equipment inside an urban, micro-winery.

For the Harvest Dinner, Chef Rich Stewart of Invidia Personal Chefs will transform Ohio's bountiful autumn harvest into a delicious, rustic four course feast.

The evening will include a mini-winemaking seminar by Signature Wines' owner and award winning winemaker, Kelly Harvey; a rustic four course fall meal featuring local farm to table cuisine; and superb Signature Wines' specifically paired with each course.

Menu and Wine Pairings

Cheese: A Variety of Ohio Cheeses/Signature Wines' Chardonnay

Soup: Curried Ohio Butternut Squash/Signature Wines Award Winning Zinfandel Blush

Main: Oven Roasted Ohio Chicken and Chicken Sausage, Polenta with Pan Jus, and Local Seasonal Vegetables/Signature Wines' Merlot

Dessert: Cranberry Apple Pie/Signature Wines' Award Winning Port

Signature Wines' First Annual Urban Art and Wine Show

Saturday, July 23, 2011; 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Signature Wines; FREE.

Support Local!

Celebrate locally produced art, wine and food. For the first time in Columbus, an art festival in a winery.

Stroll through our urban, micro-winery; sipping on a glass of our wine; enjoying a fabulous made to order crepe from Leslie's Creperie; sampling cheese from the Kokoborrego Cheese Company; and chatting with several local artists.

Artists will include: Etsy Team Columbus, CloudHaus, Nontle Jewelry, Take It for Granite, Hyde-N-Seek Designs.

Traxler Tees will be printing shirts on site and will also have a variety of their amazing t-shirts available.

Grandview Chamber of Commerce's First Annual Digfest

Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Grandview Yard; 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.- free; 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. VIP hour- $10.00, includes a souvenir cup.

We're delighted that we will be pouring our wines at this new festival. This is the only festival in central Ohio that celebrates and show cases locally made wine, beer, and spirits. Sample the libations the participants have to offer for $1.00 per taste; or purchase a full glass. Wine will also be sold by the bottle for future consumption.

In addition, VUG and Colin Gawell & the Lonely Bones will be performing; and plenty of food will be available.

If you love local, this is a festival that you don't want to miss.

Green on the Green presented by Big Green Head

Saturday, May 21, 2011 on Worthington's Village Green; 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.; free.

Learn easy ways to add green to your routine. Listen to local bands. Shop fair trade, local, organic, and earth-friendly products. Taste a variety of treats from local providers. Responsibly dispose of old electronics.

Signature Wines supports going green with zero waste wine making. Last fall we gifted all waste material associated with the crushing and pressing of the grapes during the wine making process to Franklinton Gardens to add to their compost piles. The compost will be added to their gardens which will produce fresh fruits and vegetables for low income, inner city residents.

Chef in the Winery Dinner

We are bringing in the chefs from Invidia Personal Chefs into the winery to prepare a four course meal, paired with our fine wines.

This is a unique opportunity to dine among the stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, and other equipment found in a working, urban winery.

Seats for this event, are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance by 5:00 p.m. May 11.
