Signature Wines First Annual Sangria Festival

Friday, August 20, 2010 at Signature Wines; 6:00-9:00 p.m.; $10.00/person

Join us for our First Annual Sangria Festival. 

Your $10.00 admission includes:

• A souvenir wine glass filled with our Signature House Sangria
• Live music provided by Columbus' own Dejavu Latin Fusion, with solo artist Enrique Infante

Columbus Food and Wine Affair Wine Competition

Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Columbus Fish Market, 1245 Olentangy River Road, Columbus 43212; 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.  Must be a Competition Judge to attend this event.

Three of Signature Wines' finest will be judged in one of the largest wine competitions of its kind in the Midwest.  Each wine will be judged by eight judges and scored on a modified version of the 20-point system developed in the 1950s by Maynard Amerine, a professor of viticulture at the University of California Davis.

If you are a Wine Enthusiast, and would like to have the opportunity to join the Wine Competition Judges, work with professionals in the industry, taste exceptional wines, and vote for the People's Choice click here for tickets.

2010 Medallion Recipients and the Wine Enthusiast's Choice will be announced at the Columbus Food and Wine Affair Grand Tasting on Friday, September 24, 2010.

Lithopolis Honeyfest

Saturday, September 11, 2010 on the grounds of Wagnalls Memorial, 150 East Columbus Street, Lithopolis, Ohio 43136; 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; free admission.

Sip Signature Wines exquisite wines while experiencing the art and science of beekeeping at Ohio's only honey festival.  After sampling the wines, you will have the opportunity to purchase wine by the bottle.

Columbus Food and Wine Affair Grand Tasting

Friday, September 24, 2010 at Franklin Park Conservatory, 1777 East Broad Street, Columbus 43203; 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

This is the PREMIER Grand Tasting Event of the Year.  Sample the wines Signature Wines entered in the Wine Competition.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to choose from more than 300 wines and to sample the best 35 of Central Ohio's finest local restaurants have to offer.

Proceeds from the Grand Tasting benefit the WBNS 10-TV Family Fund, Central Ohio Restaurant Association Foundation, Columbus College of Art and Design, and many more.
